I went to see James Bond.
It’s nice, what they’ve done with the Millennium Dome - it’s not just Peter Mandelson whose unexpected return could have proven embarrassing for the Government, this olympic fiasco cost hundreds of millions and wasn’t particularly good when they opened it. Now there’s a particularly good reason to go and it’s called Screen 11, the largest expanse of white this side of the Imax and Vanessa Feltz sunbathing. (Sorry Vanessa - why is still culturally acceptable to insult your size for a cheap laugh? It’s not like you’ve even offended anyone with your screen presence a great deal lately anyway.) My glasses weren’t quite big enough to take the full monty in, I had to do a Stevie Wonder-esque sweeping motion with my head during peak scenes of action and suspense in order so as not to miss anything. Important stuff.
And what a good film.
But you can wait until tomorrow for my thoughts on Bond.

Hold on a wee mo, you will go and see bond in a HUGE place, and yet you are too scared to go to a good Presbyterian church, shame on you, lol.
Mind you, the ‘talent’ in Crown Court wasn’t that great last time I was there, lol. I mean Bond went to Gordonstoun, ( had a Scots dad) a Scots School and would have been confirmed like all good Scottish Indpendent ( we don’t call them public schools) school boys within the Church of Scotland!
Oh and re McCain and Palin, I kind of like her too , she reminds me of the women I met, down to earth Thatcher, slap you with your handbag type when I spent nearly a month in Alaska a decade or more ago. But as a member of my family tree is James K Polk, a late President, and a democrat I cannot let my conscience go Republican, lol

There were some scary bits in the Bond film, but I didn’t have to wear a suit. It’s all relative, I suppose.
It appears your conscience has served you well, no?
